He's The Greatest Dancer
One night in a disco
On the outskirts of Frisco
I was cruisin' with my favourite gang
The place was so boring
Filled with out-of-towners touring
I knew that it wasn't my thing
I really wasn't caring
But I felt my eyes staring
At a guy who stood out in the crowd
He had the kind of body
That would shame Adonis
And a face that would make any man cry

Rejection Letter
Dear Frank Lowy,
Thank you for your letter of December 2.
After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me a position as director of your company.
This year I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field of candidates, it is impossible for me to accept all refusals.
Despite Westfield's outstanding qualifications and previous experience in rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection does not meet my needs at this time. Therefore, I will assume the position of director with your company this January. I look forward to seeing you then.
Best of luck in rejecting future applicants.
Sincerely,
Declan M Coyle

I Don't like Cricket - Oh no, I love it !!!
Myself and Danny (aka Rodney Trotter) went on a road trip up to Brisbane to flog off some England T-Shirts for the Ashes. Seemed like a good idea but thinking that we might have needed to open up an off shore bank account might have been a bit of wishful thinking. After driving up over night we stopped off in Surfers for breakfast only to discover that it was Schoolies week.. Big choice had to be made. Do we scrap the t-shirts and just hang out with drunk 18 year old girls for a few days or carry on up to Brisbane to make our millions. Danny dragged me back into the car.
We found somewhere to stay in Brissie, literally. That was the name of the hostel. For Beachy and anyone else planning on going up in January for the football, it is a great place and really close to the city and football ground. Everything seems to be a 10 minute walk from the hostel for some reason, the man made beach, the football ground, the city center and loads of bars.
Business was a bit slow for the first couple of days and I am putting that down to the fact that we arrived on Monday morning and the Ashes were not due to start until the Thursday.. Another master plan.
We did get to see the England team train for two days and also got well in with the manager of Union Jacks Bar, who thought we were very high up in the Barmy Army. We kind of dug ourselves into a hole with him and had to make very fast excuses when he told us that ABC news wanted to interview us. The 8 free pints we got off him were well appreciated though.
We met many new friends up there including Fat Bastard, Simple Simon, The Mole, and Westlife.
During the days that the actual games were on, the t-shirt sales went a lot better, until England started playing really crap cricket. Even the England supporters were telling me that I’ll be giving them away by the end of the week. Bring on Sydney in Jan and 2-2 in the series.. We’ll see who will be giving them away then.
C’mon England !!!!

Pink Floyd
Roger Waters announced that he would be staging "The Dark Side of the Moon Live", a worldwide concert tour. The good news is that it is coming to Sydney. It will be staged at the Acer Arena (Homebush) on the 25th Jan 2007.
Waters and his band performs the title piece in its entirety at each show, beginning at the Rock In Rio festival on 2 June 2006.
The tour features elaborate staging designed by Mark Fisher (the architect of Pink Floyd's Wall tour), including giant puppets, large video screen displays and a 360° quadraphonic sound system. The performance is divided into two sets: the first a collection of Pink Floyd material and songs from Roger's solo career, and the second The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, plus encores.
Here' is something to get your taste buds going.
